Network RTK Mode
Instead of using a RTK Base Station installed on your property, the FV2000 connects to an RTK correction network via the internet (4G/WiFi).
What does this mean?
It means no physical base station required on site which saves on setup time and costs. However, it also means the mower requires a stable internet connection via Wifi Or 4G.
The Types of RTK Setups
1. Traditional RTK Mode: Mowers will come with base station that you mount it somewhere fixed. The pro's of this are no reliance on mobile signal, however this also requires more intial setup and potential future maintenance.
2. Network RTK Mode: The FV2000 utilises RTK correction over 4G / Wifi internet. This allows a faster setup without the need to initialise an "on-site" station on property.
